My name is Helen Baylis, I am a nurse by education and training. I am the
wife of Dr. Barry Baylis, a physician and long term resident of Buckingham

My husband was admitted to Buckingham Pavilion on November 27, 2011
from the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (now known as the Shirley Ryan
Ability Lab). Considering his many needs and total dependence, the staff and
care at Buckingham is nothing short of amazing. I don’t know of anywhere in
the world of healthcare you see the dedication of the people who service the
needs of patients they care for, as here at Buckingham Pavilion.

It is remarkable to note that the majority of staff directly responsible for my
husband’s care have been at Buckingham since his admission, over a decade
