What A Memorable Grand Finale!
This past Sunday Evening, hundreds of fathers and sons filled the JDBY Gymnasium for the community-wide Avos U’Bonim Grand Finale, a program facilitated by The Chicago Center. The Summer Avos U’Bonim season concluded on a high and the energy was incredible as families from 15 participating shuls came together to celebrate their Torah learning, connection, and inspiration with one another.
The program began with decree brocha from the Zidichov Chodorov Rebbe, HaRav Pinchus Eichenstein shlita, followed by lively singing and delicious pizza. The highlight of the evening was a captivating presentation by Rabbi Eli Scheller, a world-renowned storyteller whose interactive tales and meaningful messages had the crowd laughing, listening, and learning together. The night concluded with raffles, bentching, and fun giveaways for all the boys, leaving everyone uplifted and inspired.
A huge thank you to the 15 shuls that hosted Avos U’Bonim this season for helping make this program such a unifying success throughout the community. We look forward to seeing everyone again next Summer!
