Over 4,000 community members joined us this past Sunday for another successful Chicago Center Health & Safety Fair, spending the afternoon learning, connecting, and enjoying a fun-filled day with family and friends.
Attendees explored dozens of vendor booths featuring valuable health information, safety education, and community resources. Our incredible vendors took the time to educate families about the many services and programs available throughout the community, while offering interactive activities, giveaways, and opportunities to connect. We are deeply grateful to each of our vendors for helping make the fair such a meaningful educational experience.
Families also visited The Chicago Center’s booths to learn more about the many programs and services we provide throughout the year. Participants completed the Passport Challenge, visited our Prize Booth, and left with giveaways while discovering the wide range of support The Chicago Center offers to our community.
Of course, there was no shortage of fun! Children and families enjoyed bounce houses, animal rides, a petting zoo, face painting, interactive bubble shows, and an exciting performance by the Jesse White Tumblers, making the fair an enjoyable experience for all ages.
New this year was our Helmet Safety & Fitting Station, made possible with the assistance of the Safe Ambassadors. Families learned important bicycle and street safety skills, and every child who received a proper helmet fitting went home with a brand-new helmet to help keep them safe long after the fair ended.
